Sylvain's passion for Rock'n Roll started in 1980 as the "Stray Cats" were on top of the charts.

In 1984, he formed with his best friend his first Rockabilly band, the "White Caps". In 1985 he moved to London to create the Rockabilly "Circle Line Buskers" trio which played in such eclectic places as tube stations and pubs to end up performing jams with Rock'n Roll legends like Sleepy La Beef, Eddie Fontaine, and Graham Fenton...

Military Service called him back to France in 1988 and in 1991 he returned to his hometown, Tours.

In1995, he formed the Rock/Blues band, "Midnight Riders" which perfomed support acts for the "Fabulous Thunderbirds", Alvin Lee, Jimmy Tackery and "Louis Bertignac and many concerts including for the opening of the mythical Rock Festival and Bike Show "Free Wheels" in 1997 among artsists and bands like "Inmates", Calvin Russel, "Stranglers", "Ten Years After", Peter Green, "No One Is Innocent", "Mass Hysteria" and Gary Moore.

Although "Midnight" splitted up in 1998, Sylvain continued singing with "All Willis and the Swingsters" (50's Rockabilly) and "Calibre 12" (Southern Rock).

He met Loreney at the "Horloge Café's" blues jam sessions in 2002 and formed with her and Jean-Jacques Cigolini "The Stoots" an accoustic trio made of 3 voices and 3 guitars. In the meantime, he sang in the "Soul Voices", a Gospel choir.

In March 2004 he was called by Jean-Luc Davy and Pascal Agnetti to join Medecin'e.
